Training for teachers and educators

The school's team has been running Global Citizenship training for teachers for a number of years now. We offer a training programme which teachers can book onto or schools can invite us in to deliver an In-Service training day for all school staff.

We believe whole school training has a bigger impact on developing Global Citizenship across the curriculum and school ethos.

Click here to download our Schools Global Learning Leaflet, which outlines the global learning opportunities for schools and lists all the training courses available (PDF format).

Please get in touch with Mandy Curtis, BPEC Schools Coordinator if you are interested in attending a training day or booking the team for In Service Training.

In-Service Training for school staff teams

We are able to deliver In service training to your staff team, which we have delivered successfully in over 12 schools in the city. Designed to provide opportunities for staff team discussion and explore practical hands on activities and resources and to fit your school's needs. Covering themes such as Equalities and Diversity, Sustainability, Peace and Conflict, Global Interdependence and Community Cohesion.

It has proven to be very successful to work more in depth with teachers for one year group in order to truly embed global learning in the curriculum, using cross curricular approaches. This is another option to a whole school In-service Training.  Please contact Mandy for costs and details at This e-mail address is being protected from spambots.
