Teaching resources

Adinkra Textiles - Ghanaian textiles resource boxes.

Adinkra textiles originate from the Ashanti region of Ghana. This resource box holds a collection of original hand printed Adinkra textiles and printing stamps and brings together a collection of story books to discover the traditions and symbols used in these beautiful textile pieces. Includes ideas for cross curricular work using the textiles and work by a contemporary Ghanaian artist using Adinkra and contemporary symbols in his work.

To borrow this box from the Centre, please contact Ruth on 01273 766610 or email education@bpec.org
