Well, there's great news from Magpie Environmental Trust.
Over the summer they have been successful in attracting new funding for a wormery and compost doctor project from Brighton & Hove City Council, the Gannett Foundation and Awards for All.
So if your school or community group is in the Brighton & Hove area and would like to learn about, and try, composting with worms, contact Alison Walters at the Trust on 0845 345 4799. You could soon be giving Wellington Worm a home and be the proud owner of a Junior Wormery.
Magpie can also provide the Compost Cafe Puppet show, help, support and a visit to your school or community group to set up your wormery or deal with any of your wormery or composting problems.
Full details, lots of composting info and games can be found on their website www.magpietrust.org.uk [1].
Excellent value wormeries are also available from Wiggly Wigglers [2].
