Hot new collaboration!

BPEC are collaborating with the international organisation RESULTS (Responsibility for Ending Starvation Using Lobbying Trimtabbing and Support). The initiative will help people to make a difference: to act on their concern for those people suffering from poverty and hunger-related illness.

RESULTS was set up over 20 years ago by a teacher named Sam Daley-Harris, as a response to calls for the political will to end hunger the organisation. It has gone from strength to strength, and has worked in partnership with many organisations, such as the Stop TB partnership, the World Health Organisation, ActionAid and Opportunity International, to name but a few.

A monthly meeting will be held at BPEC. A guest speaker, maybe a MP or an expert on development, will give insight and information on the issues posed to them at the meeting. The introductory meeting will be held at BPEC on 28th September.
