Music on the Bandstand

refugee1BPEC's Climate Connections project teamed up with the charity Refugee Radio to support an event which brought out Brighton's musicians and dancers.

The hugely enjoyable free gig featured new bands - Planet Gnawa and the Refugee Radio Orchestra - was staged on The Bandstand, Brighton Seafront on August Bank Holiday Monday to a sizeable audience.

 

Many visitors to the seafront were dancing and clapping while the musicians worked themselves into a jamming frenzy. Others relaxed in deck chairs provided by the council specifically for the event.
