About Us

'Inspiring action through learning about the world'

our-centre

Now in our 28th year and awarded charity status - we have reason to celebrate.

We are partnered with Oxfam, Department for International Development (DfID), Local4Global and Brighton & Hove City Council. We also receive support from our members and donors, without which we would not be able to run our day to day activities.

Mission Statement

The Brighton Peace and Environment Centre aims to raise awareness and understanding of social justice, peace, sustainable development and environmental protection matters by providing information, education and positive practical solutions to global problems.
